Montreal progressive death metal quartet AUGURY has confirmed a number of new tour dates in Canada in support of its first new album in five years, "Fragmentary Evidence". The CD was released internationally on Nuclear Blast and has been licensed for release at home in Canada through Goodfellow/Sonic Unyon.

The band played a very successful hometown CD-release show on Saturday, August 15 in front of more than 700 loyal fans at Montreal's Club Soda and Canadian press and radio has been very supportive of the album early on.

The band will be very busy this fall, doing two major North American tours. In October, AUGURY will tour with GOD DETHRONED, followed by a second tour in November/December with VADER. All confirmed Canadian tour dates are listed below.

"Fragmentary Evidence" was produced by Hugues Deslauriers (CLEARWATER DEATHBLOW), Yannick St-Amand (DESPISED ICON) and AUGURY, and was mixed by KATAKLYSM guitarist Jean-Francois Dagenais (MISERY INDEX, DESPISED ICON, MALEVOLENT CREATION). It was mastered by James Murphy (DEATH, OBITUARY, DISINCARNATE). The artwork and layout was handled by Sven de Caluwé (ABORTED).
